From August 5 to 7, 2026, we attended the Indonesia International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo—IEAE Indonesia 2026—at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo).
The show brought together suppliers, brands, importers, distributors, and buyers across a wide range of categories, including Bluetooth speakers, audio and video products, computer and gaming accessories, mobile accessories, smart wearables, and smart home appliances.
For us, the purpose of attending was not simply to put products on display. It was an opportunity to bring our speakers into a real market, speak directly with buyers, and understand how they describe their customers, sales channels, and product challenges.
Before the show, we expected most conversations to begin with output power, sound quality, and price. Those specifications certainly mattered, but as our discussions went deeper, a clearer signal emerged:
The market does not need just another Bluetooth speaker. It needs products designed around clearly defined users and real-life scenarios.
Visitors to our booth asked about battery life, output power, waterproof ratings, connection options, and target pricing. However, their most valuable questions went beyond the specification sheet:
Can the speaker handle water, dust, accidental drops, and long hours of use beside a pool, at a campsite, or on a jobsite?
Can lighting, microphone input, and multi-speaker pairing create a more engaging party experience?
When established brands already have strong market recognition, what makes a new speaker memorable?
Within an acceptable retail price range, which features add real value and which simply add cost?
These conversations showed us that buyers were not only looking for better specifications. They wanted products that were easier to position, easier to sell, and better suited to local conditions.
This became one of our most important conclusions from the exhibition: competition is shifting from specification-led products to scenario-led value.
To move the conversation beyond catalogs and data sheets, we brought several speaker samples designed for different applications. These included compact desktop gaming speakers, RGB gaming soundbars, and portable outdoor Bluetooth speakers.
Buyers were able to listen to the products and experience the output, sound profile, RGB lighting, buttons, and volume controls for themselves. We also discussed connection options, structural design, water resistance, battery life, and customization possibilities.
This hands-on process produced more useful feedback than a standard product presentation. Some buyers focused on the cost and packaging dimensions of compact desktop models. Others wanted different lighting effects or a more distinctive appearance. Buyers interested in outdoor products paid closer attention to output, water resistance, portability, and practical battery performance.
The on-site tests were not the end of the sales process. They were the first stage of project validation.
After the show, we began organizing each opportunity according to the buyer's target market, sales channel, price range, and customization needs. Our next steps include sample confirmation, function and appearance adjustments, quotations, and follow-up testing. For buyers with a clear purchasing plan, we will continue moving the projects toward trial orders and, when validation is complete, volume production.
Our goal is to turn valuable exhibition conversations into practical B2B projects and real orders.

Markets offer a rich variety of outdoor use cases, from camping, cycling, and beach trips to poolside gatherings, garden entertainment, and outdoor work. High temperatures, humidity, rain, and frequent movement also create more demanding operating conditions than a typical indoor environment.
A speaker intended for outdoor or active use therefore needs more than a single waterproof feature. Buyers and end users are looking for a complete, reliable experience:
A suitable level of water and dust resistance;
A structure that can withstand bumps, drops, and repeated transport;
A floating design for selected poolside and watersports applications;
Clear, powerful sound with stable bass in an open environment;
Long, dependable battery life;
Convenient wireless pairing and multi-speaker connectivity.
The protection rating is only the starting point. Reliability is the real value proposition of an outdoor speaker. Product development should begin with the full usage environment instead of adding a waterproof claim to an existing indoor design.
Another clear opportunity at the show came from home entertainment and outdoor social gatherings. High output power remains important for a party speaker, but being louder is no longer enough to create meaningful differentiation.
Consumers increasingly expect an experience that invites participation. Dynamic lighting helps transform the atmosphere. Microphone input makes karaoke and group interaction possible. Multi-speaker pairing expands the sound field, while controlled low-frequency performance gives the music greater energy.
This means that the sound, lighting, interaction, and connection experience should be designed as one system. Every feature needs to support the same purpose: making a gathering easier to start and more enjoyable to join.
There is still room between premium global brands and entry-level products. However, this opportunity does not belong to products that simply combine a long list of average features.
Buyers and consumers compare sound quality, battery life, water resistance, appearance, ease of use, and brand trust at the same time. A new product needs to outperform expectations in one or two areas that customers can immediately understand, such as:
More balanced and dependable sound than other products at the same price;
Longer, credible real-world battery life;
Better water resistance and a more robust enclosure;
A recognizable and consistent design language;
Simple controls and a connection experience that requires no explanation.
Our conclusion is that a successful mid-range model does not need every possible feature. It needs a clear advantage that consumers can feel and channel partners can communicate. Value for money is not the lowest price; it is a visible, credible improvement at the target price point.
As the basic performance of competing speakers becomes increasingly similar, product form creates new opportunities for differentiation.
A magnetic mounting system, for example, can make a speaker easier to attach to a golf cart, RV, bicycle accessory, or other metal surface. A vintage or visually distinctive design can turn an audio device into part of the interior. Thoughtful combinations with a flashlight, power bank, or radio can add practical value for camping, emergency, and outdoor work scenarios.
Feature innovation does not mean adding as many functions as possible. Effective innovation should help a customer understand within seconds who the product is for, which problem it solves, and why it is more suitable than a conventional speaker.
Bluetooth speaker connectivity is also evolving. Bluetooth 5.3 and 5.4, Auracast and other multi-device broadcast technologies, USB-C audio, app control, and AI noise-reduction microphones are creating new possibilities.
The important question is no longer limited to how quickly one device can connect. It is whether multiple devices can work together more naturally. Several speakers may form a larger playback system, different devices in a home may share content, or an app may provide simple control over lighting, equalizer settings, and listening modes.
New technology adds value only when it reduces effort, expands a useful scenario, or clearly improves the experience. For brands and channel buyers, the right question is not simply, “Is this technology new?” but rather, “Will the end user actually benefit from it?”
When we combined repeated buyer questions with the broader trends visible at IEAE Indonesia 2026, three product directions stood out for further B2B development.
Desktop space is limited, especially in dorm rooms, home offices, and entry-level gaming setups. At the same time, users still want stereo sound, a stronger gaming atmosphere, and convenient connectivity.
An OEM black 2.0 USB compact dual stereo RGB light desktop bluetooth pc gaming speaker addresses this combination by integrating 2.0 stereo sound, USB power, Bluetooth connectivity, and RGB lighting into a compact format. Its value is not simply the addition of lights. It offers a practical way to combine audio, entertainment, and visual coordination without occupying too much desk space.
For customers who prioritize stable, plug-and-play operation, a 2.0 USB-powered black compact 10W RGB wired desktop PC gaming soundbar speaker offers another route. A compact soundbar body, 10W output, USB power, and a wired connection can reduce cable clutter and save space. This configuration is particularly relevant to entry-level gaming bundles, computer accessory programs, retail promotions, and private-label projects with a clearly defined price point.
The warm, humid climate and active outdoor lifestyle create demand for portable speakers that balance output, water resistance, battery performance, and ease of carrying.
An OEM black IPX6 water resistance bluetooth wireless portable speaker responds directly to that requirement.
For an OEM project, the basic platform can also be differentiated through color, logo, packaging, sound tuning, battery configuration, and selected feature combinations.
For users who prefer one device instead of separate left and right speakers, the desktop soundbar remains an attractive format. It fits beneath a monitor, keeps the desk visually organized, and can use dynamic RGB lighting to strengthen the gaming atmosphere.
The search intent behind a modern Dynamic RGB desktop with volume control wholesale Gaming soundbar speaker points to three connected buyer priorities: modern styling, adjustable lighting, and convenient physical control.
For wholesale and private-label projects, the product needs to look compelling in online listings and retail packaging, but it must also feel practical in daily use. Accessible volume control, clear sound, appropriate dimensions, and well-designed lighting are all part of the same experience.
These three product directions serve different users, but they share one development principle: define where the product will be used and which problem it should solve before selecting the output, connection method, lighting, enclosure, and protection features. This is how an OEM speaker becomes more than a combination of specifications and gains a purchasing reason that both distributors and consumers can understand.

After three days at IEAE Indonesia 2026, the most valuable results were not simply a collection of business cards. We returned with hands-on testing feedback, qualified project opportunities, and a more specific product perspective:
Outdoor products should be developed around reliability, not just a waterproof claim;
Party products should integrate sound, lighting, interaction, and connectivity;
Mid-range products need one clear and noticeable advantage;
Product form, mounting methods, and useful feature integration can open new niche markets;
New technology must become a simple and meaningful user benefit.
These conclusions will inform our next product development steps. We will continue translating the scenarios repeatedly mentioned at the show into technical requirements and validating solutions across structural protection, sound performance, battery life, connectivity, lighting, and industrial design.
For us, the value of attending IEAE Indonesia 2026 was not simply entering a market. It was the opportunity to examine our products from the perspective of local buyers and end users.
Products with real potential are rarely defined entirely in a meeting room. They often begin with a problem in the field, a complaint from a channel partner, or a user need that appears repeatedly but remains underserved.
In Jakarta, we saw these signals clearly. Consumers need more dependable products for outdoor environments, more engaging entertainment experiences, and more noticeable quality within a reasonable budget.
The exhibition reinforced one of our core beliefs: good market insight does not mean predicting every trend. It means recognizing repeated problems early and turning them into products that can be tested, improved, and manufactured.
